Introduction

The Pharm2Phork Project is currently putting together a series of workshops to be given over the course of the 2012 Spring/Summer seasons.

The courses are designed to cover the basic principles of our community projects as well as to provide hands on experience with the assistence of seasoned practitioners in the various fields.

This first workshop is an overview of our housing project and is based on the use of the Cal-Earth Super Adobe system as well as the use of Adobe brick structures and the firing of the completed structure.

The Weekend Housing Workshops, 5/6, 12/13, 19/20 and 26/27 May 2012 Erding-Aufhausen , Germany

We are pleased to announce a “Pharm2Phork Overview” workshop – an experimental workshop where we will introduce the housing programs in the project.

When: 9 a.m. to 5 PM Saturday/Sunday, 5/6, 12/13, 19/20 and 26/27 May 2012 Where: Pharm2Phork Centre Erding (Aufhausen) S2 S Bahn, Germany

• What will we be doing:
  • We will cover the practical basics of the Super Adobe system.
  • We will be laying walls and at least one arch using Super Adobe.
  • We will learn the principles of creating vaults, arches, windows and doors using Super Adobe.
  • Overview of European Regulations with respect to Adobe and Compressed Brick based housing.

• Who should participate:
  • Anyone interested in building an affordable, natural, sustainable, healthy home for themselves and their family.
  • Anyone currently working in the field of construction who would like to experience this ancient form of natural building.

• Cost:
  • €150.00 if you register and pay before April 5th and
  • €175.00 if you register any time after Aptil 5th
  • Last day for registration & payment 1 May

Fees include morning Coffee andTea as well as midday lunch course materials, book and DVD.
